We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was amazing, right in the center of the city. We were able to walk to most tourist attractions and there were two different subway lines nearby, making it easy to explore further areas. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Laura at the reception. The private room we had was very comfortable, with crisp air conditioning. Additionally, the breakfast provided was decent, which is rare in many hotels.
Can't fault the property in any way.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of the hotel. The decorations had a traditional touch, with beautiful artwork and antique furniture that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and had comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility. There were elevators available, which made it easy for me to navigate the building without any hassle.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be a bit more attentive. It would be nice if they offered additional assistance to senior guests, such as helping carry luggage or providing more detailed information about nearby attractions suitable for older individuals.

The location of the hostel was fantastic, situated near popular attractions and easily accessible to public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing assistance in arranging airport drop-off. Additionally, the private room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, exceeding my expectations.
Additionally, some of the rules enforced by the staff seemed unnecessarily strict, such as not being allowed to walk barefoot or smoke on the balcony. The breakfast provided was quite basic, consisting only of coffee/tea and bread with dulce de leche.

I recently stayed at Hostel Colonial for a few nights during my trip to Buenos Aires. The location was perfect, close to Retiro station, the pink house, obelisco, and port Madero. The bed was comfortable and came with an individual locker, which was very convenient. The simple breakfast included in the price was a nice touch. I found it to be great value for the price.
